In mid 2006 we intend to ride from Perth in the Sou-west to Cape York in the Nor-East of Australia. This route will take us through the extremes of Australian landscapes, from deserts to rainforests. Our method of travel between remote areas will be motorcycles. We will be travelling independantly, without vehicle backup, so everything we need has to be carried on these bikes. This website will be the official documentation of our journey and will be updated reguarly, especially while we're in Aussie. |

Recent NewsLate 2005, Doug and I now have our bikes about 90% ready. Rick's bike has a bit further to go. We have also acquired a lot of specialised gear now, lightweight tents and cookers for example. For the latest on our preparations and travels, see the web log. |
